Memberships

The Myakka Pines Golf Club of Englewood, Inc. is a semi-private, not for profit, member owned club, composed of 440 memberships in accordance with the Club By-Laws.
The Club is run by a 12-member Board of Directors, who are elected by the member at the annual meeting and serve a three-year term.
The golf course is designed to excite the average golfer and yet it is challenging enough to interest the scratch player. The variety of three beautiful nines, each with its own individual characteristics, adds a new dimension to Florida golf. Each nine will play about 3350 yards from the back tees, 3100 yards for men, and 2800 for women.
In addition to the 27 hole course, there is a Pro Shop (with bag storage), an excellent practice facility, and a Snack Bar. Private carts are allowed for full members, with covered cart storage available. PGA Professional instruction may be arranged with our golf professionals.
The initial costs of becoming an equity member of the Club are as follows:                                                      
  (Dues are prorated for members joining during the year)

1. Proprietary Certificate:                                      $4500.00                                         
   (5 year Installment Plan available, $50 annual fee)

   1. Limited option to purchase from resign list member for $3000 up-front

2. Initiation Fee:                                                    $3500.00 (suspended effective 2/9/2012)

3. Annual Membership Dues:  Family:                 $2581.00 plus tax    
                                                Single:                $1936.00 plus tax

4. Prepaid Snack Bar Deposit: Family:                 $300.00                                                                                             Single:                $200.00

5. Annual Trail Fees: (private cart owners) Electric Carts:   $500.00 plus tax (includes electricity)

   1. Cart Storage (Lease of covered storage space)   $500.00 (one-time payment)

6. Annual Range Membership:  Free to all members

7. Annual Bag and Shoe Storage (optional):                $50.00 per person plus tax

8. Annual Pull Cart Fee (optional):                               $50.00 per person plus tax

9. Annual Pull Cart Storage Fee (optional):                  $20.00 per person plus tax

Non-Equity Introductory Golf Pass
 
For a limited time only, Myakka Pines Golf Club has developed a new program to introduce potential new members to the Club. We are offering a Non-Equity Golf Pass to golfers who wish to try out the Club for a year before committing to Equity Membership. This program allows you to experience all that Myakka Pines has to offer, with no up-front fees for the first year! The details of the program are listed below:

1. Available for new golfers only (not for current or former members)

2. No Proprietary Certificate or Initiation Fees for the first year

3. Introductory Golf Pass is good for 12 months from the date of purchase

4. Annual Golf Pass Fees:   Family:              $3295.00   
                                            Single:              $2495.00

   1. Golf Pass Fees include club cart rental!

      1. Private Cart options available when upgrading to Equity Membership

   2. Food & Beverage purchases with payment at the time of purchase

 
Reinstatement Program
 
For former members of Myakka Pines, the Club is also offering a temporary reinstatement program through April 15, 2012. Whatever the reason you chose to resign your membership, we want you back! The only requirements are that you currently hold a Proprietary Certificate; you have been resigned for over 12 months, that you pay any outstanding balances owed to the Club.  If those simple criteria have been met, you may rejoin the Club in the category of your choice with the payment of only a $250 reinstatement fee. It’s that easy to re-join your friends at Myakka Pines!
